Coláiste Choilm had a close defeat against a strong Enniscorthy side. The Final score wasEnniscorthy 5.08 to Coláiste Choilm's 4.07. The conditions were harsh in Carlow university with heavy rain and a strong wind so the match was played on astroturf. The match started at 12:00 sharp

In the first ten minutes of the second half Coláiste Choilm showed a strong force, captained and lead by Kevin Dunne. Fortunately, the Enniscorthy keeper made an unlucky mistake, and it resulted in an own goal making the score 1-0 to Colaiste choilm.

As the first half went on, Coláiste Choilm show the skill in their work with great skill and intensity, some of the stand out plays were; A great save from Conor Dunne, A block by Adam Gerathy to stop a point, An unbelievable goal from Robbie Dolan and also Conal Buggy showing outstanding athleticism scoring 1-01. At the end of the first half Enniscorthy started to pull ahead and the score was 4-04 Enniscorthy 3-04 Coláiste Choilm.

As the second half started Enniscorthy started to pull ahead. In the first 15 minutes Coláiste Choilm keep levelled with 2 goals from Larry wright and an excellent free from Conal Buggy, slotting it over from past the 65 yard line. With 15 minutes left the strong Enniscorthy side pulled ahead with well-placed goals. Finishing the game 5-08 to 4-07. The man of the match was a well-deserved Adam Gerathy showing exceptional blocks passes and scores.
