Pastpupil Focus: John Nayagam
Coláiste Choilm was proud to recently welcome back past pupil John Nayagam as a special guest speaker, coinciding with the homecoming of his latest theatre production at Esker Arts Centre.
A former Emmerdale actor, John returned to Tullamore to present Word Against The Word through his company, Watering Hole Productions. While not performing in the production himself, John’s role in bringing this powerful and deeply personal piece to local audiences made the occasion all the more meaningful.
During his visit to the school, John spoke with students about his journey in the arts, offering valuable insight, inspiration, and encouragement to those considering creative paths. His story is a testament to the diverse opportunities open to our students and the lasting connection our past pupils maintain with the school community.
We are extremely grateful to John for taking the time to return to Coláiste Choilm and share his experiences, and we congratulate him on the continued success of his work.
