Keep your laptop/PC fresh  - 

• Check for Windows updates regularly - Press Windows Key -> type Check for updates -> enter -> then click on ‘Check for updates and download/install any updates available   

• Clean up all temporary files  
  • Windows Key -> type run -> enter -> type temp -> enter and then delete all the files you can  
  • Windows Key -> type run -> enter -> type '%temp% -> enter and then delete all the files you can  
  • Windows Key -> type run -> enter -> type prefetch -> enter and then delete all the files you can  
  • Windows Key -> type run -> enter -> type cleanmgr -> enter -> click 'clean up system files' and follow the rest of the process  
  • Windows Key -> type mrt -> enter -> follow the rest of the process (this cleans up and small bugs/malware etc 

• Turn off unnecessary ‘Start Up Apps’ 
  • Press Control+Shift+Esc -> click on Start Up Apps and turn off unnecessary apps by right clicking and then selecting ‘disable
